Why Is Lamb Fur A By-Product?

Where is the source of our lamb furs from? How are the sheep treated?

These are legitimate concerns and important questions that we feel are necessary to be addressed. We desire that no animal be killed simply for the sake of their fur. The lambs we use are raised for their meat in the region where they’re from. And since the locals in that region consume lamb as their main food source, the sheepskins then gets left behind and becomes the by-product.

In order to prevent waste, we take the lamb fur and transform it into beautiful home décor. All of the sheep that we get the furs from are pasture-raised, never caged, and are not harmed for the attainment of their fur. For that reason, we abstain from carrying mink, fox, or any other fur where the animal is harvested for the sole goal of its fur. It is our ambition to sell products that protect the environment, minimize waste, and also pay attention to the treatment of animals.
